Manufacturer: GRAXX — GRT Rippers
Rippers are designed for initial disintegration of ground. They are suitable for frozen ground, road demolition, removal of roots or other fixed structures on the ground, or initial loosening of rock in quarries. In GRAXX portfolio their designation is "GRT".
There are two types of boom fixtures for excavator rippers:
- Fixing with two hooks — fixture types: CW10, CW20, CW20S, CW30, CW30S, CW40, CW40S, CW45, CW45S, CW55, CWSSS, or CW70
- Fixing with two shafts — fixture types: MH30, S30, MH40, S40, S45, FL45/Hydrema, S50, S60, S70, S80, S90, and S100
The main assemblies of rippers are:
- coupling assembly
- blade
- ripper
The whole ripper structure is made using welding technology with mounted coupling components (the brackets). The scarifying piece is made of HARDOX 450HB steel, while the fixing assembly is made of structural steel. The blade is made of steel with a hardness of about 500 HB (standard 470–540 HB).
Depending on the type and size of the openwork bucket, the manufacturer equips it with Combiparts or CAT-type teeth.
